# Open Therapy for therapists

> What Open Therapy offers practitioners, what it costs, and how to get listed.

Open Therapy is a directory and booking platform for verified practitioners in Australia. You keep your own fees, your own cancellation terms and your own clinical judgement. We handle the listing, the matching, the booking and the money.

## What it costs

**Free to list.** No monthly fee, no seat licence, no minimum.

| | |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Listing | **\$0** forever |
| Platform fee | **2.5%** per session |
| Introduction fee | **One-off** per new client, \$20–\$75 by discipline |
| Card processing | At cost |

We earn when you do, and nothing when we bring you nobody. Clients who arrive through your own booking link carry no introduction fee at all. See [Fees](/fees) for the full breakdown with worked examples.

## What stays yours

| Decision | Who makes it |
| ------------------------------------------ | ----------------------- |
| Your session fees | You |
| Which services you offer, and their length | You |
| Your cancellation policy | You — from four presets |
| Your availability | You |
| Whether you're taking new clients | You |
| Whether a session was attended | You |
| Whether a client is right for you | You |

Two rules are ours rather than yours, and both are deliberate: **you never charge a client for a session you cancelled yourself**, and **a client who cancels after the start time pays the no-show rate rather than the late rate**. See [Cancellation policy](/therapists/cancellation-policy).

## Who can list

Practitioners registered with Ahpra, Speech Pathology Australia, Dietitians Australia, PACFA or ACA. See [Verification](/therapists/verification) for what's checked.
